Digital transformation is an urgent challenge for the performance and resilience of European companies and public sector organizations. EDIH-Bretagne rises to this challenge and is proud to have been selected by the European Commission as part of the Digital Europe program.

What is
EDIH-Bretagne?

A concentration of the best regional services to accelerate the digitalization of the Breton economy.

This regional hub aims to contribute to the the economic growth and wealth of companies in the Brittany region (SMEs, mid-caps, public service providers) working in the region’s strong industrial sectors: Maritime, Agriculture/Food, Digital, Industry, and Health.

Its specialization in cybersecurity is a key asset for its development and integration at the heart of European networks of innovative ecosystems.

The project is co-led by Images & Réseaux (digital competitiveness cluster) and Bretagne Next agency (regional economic development agency) for Bretagne Cyber Alliance, with co-funding from the Brittany Region and the European Commission.

They rely on a core group of 7 members, including: Images & Réseaux, agence Bretagne Next, the 7 Technopoles of Brittany (association of the 7 Breton science parks), Rennes University (SequoIA cluster)Pole Excellence Cyber (PEC),EMC2 and Polaria.

To complete the portfolio of specific services, a complementary second circle of competency centers, as well as European actors such as the KIC (Knowledge Innovation Community) EIT Digital and ECSO (European Cyber Security Organisation), support the initiative.

In alignment with the regional Smart Specialization Strategy (S3), all actors in digital innovation are eventually expected to be part of this grand digital ecosystem in Brittany.
